Hennie Karsten co-founded EKCON Engineers and Project Managers in 1996 and serves as a Director and Mechanical Engineer. With over three decades of consulting experience, he specialises in mechanical building services, rational fire design and project management across commercial, residential, industrial and healthcare projects.

His expertise covers air conditioning and ventilation, fire protection, water reticulation, hospital mechanical services and a wide range of industrial systems. Hennie holds a B.Eng (Mechanical) from the Stellenbosch University and is registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa.
